CBE preg test w/ weeks estimator

Anyone have something like this happen?

I got the 3 plus last Thrusday.

I took another one last night and it say 2-3

But then took another one early this morning and it's back at 3 plus.

I am hoping it malfunctioned!!

My last beta was on the 30th, and 714.

I should be well over 2600, which is the HCG level of 3 plus.

Thanks for any info!

I've had 4 chemicals, so I am just a bag of nerves. Just praying this one sticks and is healthy.

I don't have any experience, but my personal opinion is that pg test is a bunch of bs and just going to cause a lot of trouble. You can't tell when you are 2 weeks pregnant. My beta at 4 weeks isn't going to be the same as yours or hers or anyone else's. so do yourself a favor and throw the darn things out. If you really need the comfort of POAS, get some cheap pink dye tests from the dollar store and pee away.
When is your u/s scheduled? FX for you!

I know and I totally agree and I know noone has the answers. I am going to have to wait.

MY OB doesn't want to see me til the 23, which is the 8 week mark. But I am going to call tomorrow and see if I can get in for an u/s. Just to see if they can see the sack or anything and where it is.

If you have had 4 cps, why are you working with an OB not a RE?

We stopped fertility treatments 2 yrs ago, this was a surprise BFP. I actually did call my RE, but she left the practice, the nurse I talked to said to continue w. beta checks w/ my OB.

Sorry no experience here. Advice though is agreement with pp -throw them out! See if you can get an early check in with your OB. Fingers crossed! Good luck!

Those are so bogus. My friend took 4 from the same urine sample and 2 said 2-3 weeks and the others said 3+ weeks. Also if it were a 3 that doesnt mean u would have a beta of 2600. When i had my beta checked at 4 weeks (14dpo) it was only around 350. HTH.

Thanks ladies, your comments are making me feel a bit better.

Also re: the test, it's actually from the date of ovulation, so they say to actually add 2 weeks, just to clarify. So a 3 plus means that you are 5 weeks or further (which I am 5 weeks 4 days).

And they claim that the 3 weeks means 2600 or higher. That is the highest it goes. I called the hotline and asked about the hcg levels on 3 plus, that's how I know that.

But you are all right, I think there can be a lot of error with these things (and I hope so w/ my case!)

It is urine, so it could be diluted.

I'm going to call my doc first thing in the AM and hopefully get an u/s. I know that is the best indicator at this point.

This really makes me feel better, thanks!! Did she have any idea what her beta was at that point? OR how far a long she really was? If you remember?

Unfortunately I've also experienced recurrent chemical pregnancies, and this test did NOTHING to help my fears. I would suggest that you stop taking them. As with @LeahB12 my betas were so different with DS1 and my current pregnancy that I probably wouldn't have gotten 3+ at five weeks with this pregnancy. I don't agree with continuing to test at all although I know how hard it can be. With my current pregnancy I took another pink dye test the morning of my second beta and the line was no darker than my test two days earlier so I was sure it was another chemical. I went and got a pumpkin spice latte after I had my beta drawn and just waited for the bad news. My beta was fine. Two days later I had my beta drawn again and thats when I took the CBE digital. I didn't get 3+ and I freaked out, but my betas had increased but were not near 2600 and I was past 5 weeks. Long story short.... I'm sure you're fine. Since that is a urine test, I wouldn't put much stock in it as far as measuring HCG because your urine can be to diluted and that's why you got the 2-3. Good luck and I"m sorry for your losses.
