How many of you had regular cycles after first baby?

Hi everyone. So, a little background, I had my DD a year ago today *woooh* xD and have been breastfeeding the entire time. I was never very regular with my cycles and thought with breastfeeding I wouldn't see AF for a while but I've actually been having very regular cycles. Im talking 28 days or a little earlier. I'm a few days late and got what I think might have been an evap line on a home pregnancy test,. I'm waiting to test again Thursday but just wanted to ask if any of you ladies had a regular cycle after you had your baby? And got pregnant without any more treatments? I had dome clomid and an hcg shot following progesterone supplements once I got my bfp. I'd love to hear from you guys. Thanks in advanced

No second BFP for me, but my cycle has seemed to somewhat regulate since DS was born. Before him, I never knew when I'd get my period, it could've been anywhere from two months to ten months and no real warning. I got my first PP period when he was 13 weeks and have had one about every two months since then. So not real regular, but more than what it was.

I have heard/talked to some women whose cycles became regular after having a baby, and definitely BFPs without treatment (plenty of those in here too!). It's all possible!

Did I have regular cycles after giving birth? 1 or 2 after the birth of DS1 (and then everything went back to my normal, which is to say not "normal" at all), no regular cycles after the birth of my twins. Were my twins conceived without treatment? No, they were conceived via IVF like their older brother. Have other women (here and elsewhere) noticed that their cycles were regulated after giving birth? Yes. Have any of those women gone on to get pregnant without further treatment? Yes. Anything is possible. Good luck.

Unfortunately, my ovaries are still polycystic and I haven't had a normal period 13.5 months post partum, 2 months after stopping BF.

My cycle returned at 10.5 weeks pp - despite EBF at the time. It's been regular ever since. No surprise BFP over here though and there probably never will be given the MFI DX. Good luck

My cycles were normal before and after pregnancy. They came back after I completely weaned DD1 at 14 mos. I'm DOR, so even though my periods were normal, I couldn't get pg without IVF

My cycles were all over the map before DD and very painful. It took 6 cycles at the RE for DD. After having DD, I nursed for over a year and my cycles did not return until 15 months pp. When they returned they were text book normal. We have actually conceived 3 times on our own, but the first 2 ended in miscarriage and were chromosomal abnormal boys. This 3rd time we are going strong with a chromosomal normal girl as per our CVS test.

I had normal cycles before DS, but I got pg before they actually even returned post partum with DD#1. After DD#1, I resumed normal cycles, but it took almost a year of trying to get pg with DD#2 (we were not going to do treatments again - if we had a third, great, if not, we were going to move on...)

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Thanks for replying. We weren't really preventing very much but not trying as I'm trying to lose weight before ttc. So I think I would be excited if I am pregnant.. Just nervous because I still had a ways to go to get to a healthy weight. I gained wayyyy to much with my daughter

No regular cycle here. Had two periods in a year and a half after ds was born. Had PCOS to begin with so rarely got them before and still don't know. Doc said nothing in my body changed from having my first. Some do though!
