Can't find my post birth story!

I can't find my quick post where I had gone into labor at 35 weeks at a check up.
As many of you know my husband just RECENTLY deployed so close to making the birth:( so on Sunday I had to finish up turning in apartment keys and what not, and then I drove ALONE 12 hours to my moms house with no issues! On Monday night I barely slept I just couldn't get comfortable at all sitting standing nothing. I went to bed at 1130pm woke up at 2am didn't go back to sleep until 7 till 10.

I was cramping up which I thought were just Braxton hicks but it was also all in my lower back and shooting to my legs. Tuesday tho i just felt pregnant I was out shopping for about 4-5 hours I was starting to get worse pain as the day ended by midnight (ball dropping I was looking into ER information who accepted my insurance) it was getting that bad but I decided not to go that night because I was more concerned about drunk drivers since it was NYE) and I just thought I was being a crybaby about the pain and just saying to myself this is pregnancy. I couldn't eat barely either this night. Was just gonna go to ER in morning.

So I woke up Wednesday around 6am and was waiting for my mom to wake up I was just thinking i might just wait for my nurse appointment cuz I didn't wanna go to the ER for something minor but my mom said let's go anyway. Reminder I just moved back here and haven't even seen my new doctors. We signed in and they took me In front of everyone that was before me. Took me right to labor and delivery and hooked me up to machines and ultrasounds.

Her heartbeat was dropping at certain points as she was not having much movement on the ultrasound then they have seen I was having REAL LABOR contractions every 2-3 minutes!!!!! I was in some serious pain I couldn't stay still and was crying from it And I was already 3cm So that really concerned the doctors. They took the info and went to call in the doctor FROM HOME. He Came in and said umm your going to be having a baby today.

I started crying, I was really upset just thinking my husband only missed it by **days:( ** freakin days:(. So they hooked me all up to the machines and pushed me off to the delivery room. All family was They gave me the epidural , my Carpul tunnel was hurting more than the shot lol Only me... I didn't feel any pain after that it was crazy!!! So the doctor broke my water and a whole bunch of puss and stuff that wasn't normal came out. I was infected!! But the doctor was stumped as to why! So he gave me the option to have a c-section or to deliver normally which would be -'another 4-8 hours.

He said leaving her in there could greatly affect her life, but takin her out as a c-section in 25 minutes could affect me with the infection Of course my daughter comes before anyone and told them they needed to take her out right away that id do anything for her. So I was rushed to the surgery room. Where my entire body was numb literally. I couldn't even puke normally cuz I couldn't feel anything almost chocked a few times on my vomit but then thy started suctioning it all out of my mouth for me I couldn't even lift my head. 15 minutes into it I was getting upset cuz I didn't like the way I was feeling.

After she was out doctor told me she didn't have to go to NICU but when I asked where she was while I was in recovery she ended up there. She really couldn't do anything on her own so she was on a lot of machines which broke my heart! But now 4 days later she is off everything. Very shocking when I walked Into the NICU today to see that! It's just simply a miracle, we tried for her for 3 years then had a big scare in the first 6 weeks and now this scare. So my husband and I are truly blessed. She is 5lbs9oz 19 inches long. Not sure where he black hair came from my husband has blonde we I have brown!!

Thank you! They have not gotten back to me what it was yet it's all still being tested and compared with my daughters blood. They aren't letting much information out at all

  • Wow what a story! Congrats on your baby girl, she is gorgeous :-) I am so sorry your husband couldn't be there with you, but now you get to look forward to seeing the look on his face when he meets his daughter for the first time!

Also, side note, you may want to break that post up into paragraphs, it is a little straining on the eyes as one big block :-)

Haha sorry I rewrote this about 6 times my phone kept deleting it lol!
