@pumpkinmommaaa started a thread titled 'dear DH' so that we could have a good vent. Awesome thread and I think it should be a weekly. Anyways, I though we should do a positive 'dear DH' to get a little balance. Anyone have a good DH story to share?

It melts my heart when DH sings to her. He has a great voice but is shy about it. Puts her to sleep every time.

Hubby,
Thank you for going out in the freezing weather to get groceries at Costco and pulled pork BBQ at Mission BBQ. I can get wicked hangry and I appreciate it. Thanks for growing your hair long like I like. Man buns are the best. Now get home so you can be a real bad ass and watch LO while I take a shower!

He's a great Daddy and he uses the nasal bulb way better than me! It melts my heart when lo had baby acne and DH asked if it was because we kiss him too much, lol. He has also asked if I ever look at DS and just want to cry because I love him so much, because he does. So sweet!

I am bitter towards my husband at the moment, but he isn't always annoying. Just when he talks. I kid. I kid.

Thank you for shoveling our walkway because you know I don't want to shovel snow ever. Thank you for working hard to get our son on a routine. He succeeded where I didn't even know how to start. I hate how much time you spend at the gym, but I love the results. You are aeriously the sexiest man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I love your six pack and your sexy little V thing by your hips.

I call those lines penis arrows. They're pointing the way! Also, yes! Love the BBQ chicken. It just opened down the street and we are very happy- and full. My H is much better at the routine business too.

My husband is pretty much always awesome, but here's what he's done awesome-ly today:

Let me sleep an extra hour by taking A outside on a walk

Encouraged me to go to the gym because he knows I want to, but sometimes need an extra little push

Sent me funny selfies of him and A while I was at the gym

Is being extra sensitive with me this weekend bc he knows I'm stressed about going to work tomorrow and having her start DC

I was going to ask the same question. DH and I go to Mission BBQ at least once a week. We may actually have that for dinner tonight!

DH is great at clipping nails. I have never had to clip both my girls' nails because he has always done it. He works 10 hour days and then comes home and does the dishes and cleans the kitchen every night. He takes DD1 somewhere on the weekends so I can have a quieter house for a couple hours. He is a great dad and husband.

I avoid the I'm-so-pissed-at-DH threads like the plauge. My husband is effing awesome and I'll shout it from the rooftops.

Right now he's out in a blizzard, plowing snow, to earn extra money to help balance our budget for Jackson's daycare expenses.

He got up for work an hour early when he heard Jackson stirring. When I woke up, there was a coffee mug w/ my powdered creamer it in under the Kierug, with a note that said "Now all you need to do is push the button". That's the equivalent of making my coffee for me

He is always telling me how much he appreciates all that I do and how amazing of a wife and mom I am.

He tells me I'm beautiful and actually makes me feel that way, even though I think I'm disgusting.

Dear DH,
Thank you for getting up Friday night for DS's MOTN feeding after plowing for 14 hours straight because I took two Benedryl and didn't even hear him. Also for staying on top of the laundry now that I am back at work. And for starting to refinish our living room tables. You have been making me bat shit crazy lately but this certainly makes up for it. Plus you're super cute when you fall asleep in your chair with DS on your chest.

After reading the other Dear DH thread, I also realized how blessed I am with my husband. He is so helpful around the house and is currently vacuuming without me even asking. And he puts up with my crazy mood swings, so that's nice

Ah, I love this too. My H is adorable when he chats with her when he gets her out of her crib, changes her, and puts her to bed. He also loves dressing her & always picks out the girliest stuff she owns.

Dear hubby,

Thanks for waiting for me on Thursday to walk with me to work even if it meant you being late because you wanted to hold my hand on my first day back to work.

Thank you for making me breakfast in bed today and for the couples massage you booked us for in the afternoon while my parents babysat. It was quite spectacular.

Thank you for driving my parents around for the last 3 weeks when they are visiting including in freezing weather.

And just thank u for being so amazing with our little girl all the time.

I have a cold that is kicking my butt and baby nurses every 1.5-3 hrs, around the clock, so i am exhausted. Dh let me sleep in forever this morning, even though he is working in his capstone project (he works ft and goes to school ft), and it really helped.
He reads a story to lo every day, and had loved reading to him since second tri.
He loves being a dad and it shows.
Eta: His commitment and hard work had made it possible for me to Dusty home with our son, and i will forever be thankful for that.
