Rhogam shot side effects?

Hi ladies,

I am getting my first Rhogam shot tomorrow.  I was planning on going to a Prenatal Pilates class about an hour or so after the shot.  Have any of you had any negative reactions after the shot?  I am wondering if I should re-schedule my pilates class in case I have a reaction or if I am being overly cautious.  Any advice is appreciated!

    I had no side effects and I have had the shot many times. Your muscles might be a little sore but it never really bothered me.

    I had it a few weeks ago and it didn't hurt at all, not even sore! I wouldn't worry about rescheduling anything.

    I actually felt extremely hot and nauseous immediately following the shot for several minutes, however it passed pretty quickly and I had no further issues.  I don't know if I would have been up for a prenatal pilates class, but I was totally fine at work.  Seems like I was a rare situation though, so you will probably be fine.

    I felt fine at the time but later in the day felt breathless and it continued all of the next day. When I googled it, that was one of the side effects. Hopefully yours will be fine.

    So the shot was easy breezy and I felt fine.  I skipped Pilates, but still went and did a couple of miles on the treadmill which I do several days a week.  I worked up a good sweat, which I don't typically do, but I felt great.  This morning I woke up and felt nauseous and weak.  When I got in the shower, I felt faint so I got out and sat down and drank some water.  I am also sore in my abdomen and I have a bruise, but neither of these are near the injection site, so I don't know what that is about.  I called the nurse line and they were not very helpful.  They want me to rest and drink a lot of fluids.  She thought I was coming down with something unrelated to the shot, which is possible because I was around a very sick person the last week.  Ugh!  At least the nausea and dizziness have seemed to subsided.  Now I am just super tired.  Blah!   Thanks for all the responses!
