What the ??? (tmi) update at the bottom

I woke to AF. Completely threw me for a loop because......

It's a 21 day cycle. I slacked on temps but it looked annovalatory.

What the hell ya'll? My cycles are 32-35 days long usually...

We took a mental health break anyway this month so it doesn't matter.

I'm getting to the point where I wanna call the doctor and say "help".

UPDATE: (cause ya'll are dying in suspense, I'm sure)

But I didn't start after all I had light bleeding (more than spotting ) the morning I posted this and NOTHING since!

What the crap?

So to summarize :

On CD 1-4 bleed

4-8 spot

CD 11 +OPK

CD 21 - light bleeding

And now zilch.

Can a chemical pregnancy screw up cycles this much?

    21 days? That does seem crazy. I hate those weird fluke cycles that just leave you with all the questions  [-(

    That's really frustrating! I wonder why it was such a short cycle. The body fascinates me and infuriates me all at the same time.

    Yeah and I bled for the first 8 days at the start of the cycle.

    Haha. Yeah, that's a good thing to blame it on :) we aren't getting pounded but it's enough that schools are canceling and we have more snow on the way tomorrow night! My house is old and has shitty insulation and original windows so even with the heat on I've been running the space heater.

    So annoying! What's your game plan for this cycle?

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    That's so strange!  Given your surprise, I'm guessing there was nothing particularly odd about this month that could've trigger an anovulatory cycle, right?  Nothing exceptionally stressful going on and no sickness or anything? 
    November 2010 - 10.5 week loss  o:) 
    October 2011 - DS (7)  <3 
    July 2014 - Stillborn DD (24 weeks)  o:) 
    August 2015 - DD (3)  <3 
    April 2018 - 5 week loss o:)

    @cheesypeas no,nothing.

    In fact we didn't even TRY this month- we avoided my FW because I'm having some dental work done that falls into what I estimated my 2ww to be and I wanted drugs and X-rays without the "what if I'm pregnant fear" so mentally I've been very relaxed, etc.

    KC, idk.. That is so weird. How long is your regular cycle? I know midcycle bleeding can *just happen* so maybe it was just some weird fluke? I guess just wait and see if you start your period when you are supposed to? 


    Are you still doing your weekly acupuncture?

    Are you still doing your weekly acupuncture? 
    @mrscastillo I took an acupuncture break due to holiday expenses and this month ended up a break as well.

    I half wonder if the sudden stop in acupuncture messed me up? I don't know.

    A "typical" cycle for me is light to medium bleeding for ~ 4 days. My cycles are usually 32-35 days long and I usually ovulate between days 18-20. That is what my "normal" has been.

    Anyway- I appreciate your insight. I'll just wait it out see what my stupid uterus wants to do - haha.

    This happened to me to KC, I was like 6dpo I think? So weird and pissed me off! Sorry your body is being an asshole :(

    Add me to the short cycle list. CD23 for me and already cramping. No spotting yet but that's surely on the way.
