Toy Organization

For all of you who might be struggling with toys everywhere, we picked this up right before Christmas and it has been a true life saver for my living room.

If you can get past the price tag, I think this is excellent (or find something similar for cheaper). I wanted a piece that I could put in my living room without it looking like it should belong in a 3 year old's play room and this fit the bill. The lower bins I have all the toys DS loves to play with the most. It is easy for him to pull things out. The upper bins I have things that he doesn't need to touch all the time. I have his mega blocks in the row up from the bottom so he can stand up and pull them out. On one side of the top I have books and the other side I have diapers, wipes, cream, bibs, etc.

Re: Toy Organization

  • Thanks for sharing. My mom watches my kids and needs something for her living room.
  • Loading the player...
  • Poor DD, her toys in the den still fit in a single large basket under an end table.  And my goal is to keep it that way as long as I can.  However, when it overflows beyond containment there is space in the entertainment center thingy.  And my parents got her a toy box for her room....I suspect so they can fill it up....hmmmm.

We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013.  We love her to pieces.

We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011.  She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.

  • Just looked at it, that is a beautiful piece!  Good find!  Love the organization and it can serve other purposes later....like in 18 years ;)

  • Coming from the opposite end of the spectrum, as someone whose kid now has toys out the wazoo thanks to "Santa," Nana and Grampy, and Grandma and Papa, I think it's a steal for $99! Thanks for sharing. :) And his birthday is at the end of the month...oy vey...I should buy two haha. We have all his things in this pirate ship toy box that is not cutting the mustard anymore.

  • There's a very very similar one on sale at Target right now. It's $99.98 marked down from $199.99. Here's the link…Circo Armoire Toybox. I'm definitely considering getting one. We don't have much more room in our living room….but then again we don't have much more room for toys either.

  • DH and I just bought an antique storage unit for a smidge over $300. It's beautiful, solid oak, and fits a ton of stuff! I know it's not for everyone, but if your town has antique stores everywhere like mine does, it may be worth a look, too. :)
Proud Momma to two beautiful children!!!
