Unsatisfied baby

My LO is rarely satisfied ...we play nonstop because he hates sitting still but even that is almost irritating him. He makes this whine noise that is constant and is brutal and I feel badly but nothing seems to help...sometimes I read him and know he needs a nap and he goes down okay. (He eats every 3 hours) Otherwise he just seems less happy. I switched formula to Similac spit up a few weeks ago...curious if it could be a digestive thing I am not seeing? Part of me thinks he is soooo mad he can't move himself yet. (He rolls a ton) Anyone have LO like this? He has his 4 month the 16th but I am curious to make an appointment for sooner. I am so anxious because he seems so unhappy and I am sure he can feel that from me. Feeling very down on myself.
