Too much Formula question

Before I left to work this morning I pre-portioned all of LOs formula and water into a couple bottles but the others were in the sterilizer.

I asked DH to pour in 3 oz into the bottles when they were done sterilizing since his mom was watching the baby today and he forgot. Well MIL didn't know that I had pre-portioned for 3 oz, and only poured in 2 for one of the feedings so there was an extra 1/2 scoop of formula in one of the bottles.

Should I be alarmed and call the pedi? Has anyone ekse ever done this?

    Someone posted earlier about giving their LO an extra scoop in 2oz for a week. Their LO is just fine, I think she said just a little sleepy, and maybe constipated.

    Your Lo will be fine. It was only a little extra no worries :) might be a little constipated but probably won't.

    I'm sure you're ok. It's something I would have stressed over as a FTM, but this STM says it's no big deal.

    Oh a half a scoop is no biggie! Just don't do it often. I did double the powder for 7 feedings accidentally once and my LO was constipated. I don't think your LO will have any issues with only a half a scoop extra.

    Your fine it happens . I also accidentally forgot to put enough formula a couple times so she probably didn't get enough nutrients mostly water but it's not a big deal if it happens every once in a while
