I'm not leaving the house for a week

It's too cold here. I sent DH out to the woods today to get more firewood and now he's out cutting and stacking it by the door. On his way home I made him load up on food staples. At least I'll have enough food and heat.

The one reason I had to leave the house next week was already cancelled. It was a monthly meeting for our homeschool group where all of the moms get together and chat without the kids in the evening. Apparently homeschool moms don't like to leave the house when it's cold, because everyone decided they didn't want to do it. A kid-free night wasn't worth leaving the house I guess. lol

I'm excited to live in my big fluffy robe for a week, light a fire, and snuggle under blankies with the kids. I'm not cut out for temperatures in the negative!!! Anyone with me?
