How would I paint this?

So I found a room design that I really like (and so does DH! Yay!) but I'm not sure how to actually do it. Have any of you ladies found tutorials that show how to paint something like this? Stencil it, paint in layers, lots of masking, I just don't know what the best approach would be.

    I would use a projector (you can rent one) and project the image on the wall, and hand paint. Using tape with those curves may not look as clean. You could also just free hand the design with a pencil, and do color by color by hand.

    I was thinking a projector would be the best way to get the design up, and agree that taping would be hard. Guess free hand painting might be my best option. I wish they showed how they did it, but haven't found anything so far.

    You can also Pinterest "DIY projector" to make with a box and lamp. If you have a good hand I'd project it, outline then free hand. Or, just hire a art student in your area ;)
