Ear tubes question

@jg1011 I think I saw you posted a while back that V got ear tubes, right? I know I don't post often but I was hoping I could pick your brain a bit! :) did V have ear drainage afterwards? DD just got tubes on Thursday and it went well but she's had a lot of drainage and some blood. 

The doctor said it was normal but if it continued after Sunday to call the office. Have you had any experience with this? (Or anyone else for that matter, I'm open to all comments!). :) 

 I'm sure I'm overanalyzing (and worrying) a bit, but I thought I pick just see if anyone else had this happen.

    Yes, he had drainage for about a week. Some bloody as well. After 4 days they switched his antibiotic drops and then it cleared up. My ENT told us how long the drain is would depend on how much fluid was built up behind.

    He also said that we could expect drainage with any subsequent ear infections.

    Hope it clears up soon. Tubes were best decision made for us!

    Thanks so much @jg1011! It helps to hear from someone else who has gone through it. So far I'm super happy with the decision, she just seems happier right away.
