Now, I fully support having a birth plan. Nurses are not psychic and they do not know your needs/wants without you telling them. And with shift changes and what not having it written down makes perfect sense. If nothing else it will help you think through some different options/situations that you may not have thought about before. BUT some people do go WAY overboard. This, is a tribute to those people and the exhausted nurses who have to deal with them. Gold. Solid gold.
