"Why are you awake?"

Do you ever find yourself asking this question when your LO wakes up in the middle of the night? It's 4:00 and T woke up 30 minutes ago. I let him cry for a few minutes before going in and patting his back. After a few minutes I stopped and T was still awake just making his little mouth noises seemingly happy as can be. I'm now in bed listening to him go between wining/crying and laughing to himself. This mom would like to go back to sleep! LOL.

    Ds2 has a terrible cough. I think we will be heading to doc on Monday

    LO woke up at 1 and now again at 6. I'm hoping he will go back to sleep after eating but I'm not holding my breath.

    Yes, I ask that all the freaking time ... DD went to bed at 7:30, up at 8, then 10:30, 1-3, then up for good at 6:45.  I can't figure out why she won't sleep.  Yesterday she ate and napped well, I thought she'd sleep better than that.  

    If I ever have another kid, I'm hiring a sleep trainer or a night nanny...joking, but I would wish for those things.

    Yup. Every night. Especially when he wakes up 3 or more times. And then I think about sleep training. When morning comes, I always say I can't do that. It's always darkest before the dawn.

    Best book ever. We read it to her all the time. She will sometimes laugh while we read it. I think she knows she's being a little asshole when she does that...
