Happy First Friday of 2014! Plans for the weekend?

Happy New Year again to PAIF ladies! Sorry this post is late but I have been having issues with TB since last night.

Hope the new year brings GL to those TTCing. T&Ps to those who need them. And welcome to all the new mamas of 2013.

What are your plans for this weekend? I know several of us are in New England/mid-Atlantic area, how are you holding up with the snowstorm and FREEZING temperatures? It was 4F this AM and windchill was -16F.

QOTW: New Year Resolution?

We were supposed to host a play date today, for a group of moms I met at BF support group (> 1 yr ago now). But with the freezing temps and urge to stay off the roads, we have to cancel it. On the upside, DH is taking a snow day so at least I'm not stuck home alone with M! Having a bit of cabin fever here!

Tomorrow we are going to a first birthday party. Sunday we are going to ILs for lunch, and I'm going to see a play in the evening with some friends.

BTW, amid the snowstorm and freezing temps, I got my first PP period yesterday, totally unexpected (no cramps, no bloating). I haven't had a period for almost 2years, so my supplies are low, but it's so damn cold out that I'm not going to the store. So I'm using these super-duper-ginormous pads that I bought for PP... they are bigger than M's diapers!

QOTW: my goal is to have more patience with M, and plan to read a couple of toddler books (Fearless Feeding, Love & Logic, Child of Mine etc).

Mh is OOT for the weekend. So I'm just taking it easy and hanging out with my best girl. We got most of our decorations put up in the new house yesterday so it's starting to feel like home. Been thinking of baby girl names and nursery themes!!

@TJ1979 - For some reason I REALLY thuoght you were having a boy. I am still wrapping my head around a girl. HAHAH.

I'm with you @pb_bride. I am in CT and it's FREEZING here.

I was supposed to do Happy Hour with friend tonight but we bagged it b/c of the weather. No crazy plans this weekend; we have to pick up a new car for DH tomorrow (his lease was up).... and I need to take my tree and decor down.

I think DH is going out tomorrow night, which I'm really not too happy about but Molly and I will enjoy a low key, quiet night at home.

That's all that's on the docket.

NY Resolutions; I've got a grocery list; the key items - less take out, new job, get pregnant again towards end of year, and here's a funny one for you - wear nailpolish. I think done nails look great but I never keep up with mine!

Hey ladies! No school today bc of the snow so we are just having a lazy day at home.

Tonight and tomorrow should be quiet. H may have to work tomorrow since they canceled work for today. Sunday, L and I are headed to a baby showe for one of my BFFs in CT. She is due in March with twin girls. Looking forward to seeing her.

QOTW: I don't really have any resolutions but I'd like to work on losing this IVF and baby weight without stressing over it. I'd like to do a FET with our one frobaby in August and I do not want to weigh this much then.

I braved the snow and came into work today. I'm trying to save as much paid time off as possible. Plus, flame away but... DS was a super crab when he got up this morning and I felt like bringing him to daycare would be a good distraction for him!! Tomorrow, depending on DS, I might go meet my sister to go look at wedding dresses for her. And then possibly go pick out tile for our backsplash so DH can get that project done. Sunday, I hope I don't even have to get out of my PJs!

Sooooooo cold out but getting out for dinner tonight with my cousin before I am officially stuck in for weeks by myself since DH leaves for travels all month on monday blah. Other then that tacking down the xmas decorations (I realllllllly don't want to touch the ones outside) and hopefully starting to work on the babies room.

QOTW: God get my relationship back on track, get back into shape once this little bean pops out, save more money and get a new job!

Nothing exciting, just staying in and keeping warm!

QOTW: DH and I booked a babysitter 2 Saturdays a month for date nights through June! Looking forward to sticking to that resolution! Also to simplify! Planning in going through all closets, cabinets and drawers to toss all.the.junk!!

Happy Friday!

H got his tubes this morning so we're taking a lazy day today. The only other plans for the weekend are a grocery overhaul.

QOTW: I don't consider it a resolution but DH and I are going paleo with our diets. We both need to eat better so we're making an attempt to adopt this lifestyle, hence the reason for a grocery overhaul. Tomorrow I'm going through our pantry and refrigerator and throwing out everything that will not be a part of our new eating habits. If it's not there, I won't be tempted to eat it.

Happy Friday everybody!!!

Tonight we had my cousin and his wife over for our last Christmas gift exchange. Late I know, it's just how it is.

Tomorrow is all about the house, gonna finish taking down Christmas decoration and LOTS of cleaning. PLUS we're gonna make a play room out of the office upstairs. I am getting super frustrated at chasing Hannah away from all the dangerous things around the living room

. And we also have a meeting at the bank to put money away for Hannah's education, start now so that she'll have a decent amount when she's older.

Sunday we have BIL's birthday party, then I have a band practice on Sunday at 4. Busy weekend!

QOTW: To lose enough weight to be prepregnancy so that we can start trying again. To make sure I spend as much time as possible together as a family. Pay off as much debt as I can.

Happy to be off this weekend. Here in MN its going to be cold cold COLD! So I plan to stay home with my boys and do some stuff around the house and get some good snuggle time in too.

QOTW: Get back in school, and maybe a new job to work towards becoming a P.A.

It had been sunny any tank top weather. I love this time of year because I paid my "weather tax" this summer and I'm reeping the benefits!

We still have family in town this weekend. Monday we start clean eating and I have my grocery list ready to go (my ny resolution). I'm excited and ready to purge food crap, but DH was complaining about too much stuff in the house. We need to do a purge.
