Comfort nursing

I have been comfort nursing for an hour now and I am going to scream!! When is she going to fall asleep?!?! She's been eating every hour to two hours today and I feel like I am going to cry - or that my nipples are going to fall off...

    Which brand did she gag on?
    LO gaged on the tommy tippy ones. We gave him the Nuk brand (smaller) and he likes them.

    I'm right there with you on the whole feeling like your nipples are going to fall off thing. One of these times I'm going to try to whip my boob and there will be no nipple. Lol

    I could have written this. I've been doing it all day long. My nipples almost have no feeling anymore (I'd actually prefer this to the constant pain) because I've been nursing her on and off all day since about 1. It's been a very long day and she's slept about an hour or two total all day, but she's 3 weeks Monday, it's just a growth spurt. I feel your pain, hang in there.

    Growth spurts are so hard. My LO won't take a pacifier either.

    Yes! The numbness is welcome at this point. Plus I have a clogged duct on one side so I'm trying to manage that, too. I wish I had enough milk pumped and stored but there's only a few ounces and at this rate, it'd be gone in 20 seconds!

    Ugh I'm with you. DD has been doing the same the past two days and my nipples are killing me. She will occasionally take a Nuk pacifier but she is so pissed about it lol.
