Random question

When in the process did you create a registry? We obviously aren't ready to share a registry yet, but we would like to think about a travel system and necessary basics. Since some of the stores offer money back on purchases made from the registry, do we register before the few purchases that we plan to make in the next few months? What did/will you do?

    We started an Amazon wish list when we went active. We didn't make it public until placement. Since it was Amazon, we didn't get a completion discount. We just kept our eyes open for sales.

    FWIW, a lot of people aren't fans of travel systems. Just something to keep in mind

    We did ours once we felt like placement was going to happen for a match. That said- we bought all the "big ticket" items on our own: crib, travel system, changing table, etc.  We just didn't feel right asking people to purchase stuff for us when there was uncertainity...
