New Plan

So after my breakdown the other night over this constant vomiting (thanks again to all who offered support) I had a serious conversation with my doctor.  I have not gained a single lb since before thanksgiving and less than 10lbs total since the BFP.  She is starting me on a new med - Reglan - which should help the food move through my stomach faster and help reduce my vomiting.  I took the first dose last night and vomited before but nothing after.  At this point I am being cautiously optimistic.  Fingers crossed!

  • Fun fact about reglan, it's also prescribed in connection with production of breast milk. I took it for a few weeks under supervision of my lc. Maybe you will feel better and produce a ton of bm!

  • @kvochka I was actually just reading about that online.  She gave me 90 pills (supposed to take up to 4 per day) so I may have some extra to help jumpstart milk production if I run into any problems.

  • I'm so glad this could be a solution. I'm on it now to improve my booby juice so this could be a bonus for you!

  • Thanks everyone.  DH and are will be watching out for the side effects for sure.  Just from my reading online it seems this med better matches my symptoms so that give me hope.  The real tests will be lunch and dinner bc that is what I have been struggling with the most.

  • Hope this helps and you feel better!
  • I hope it helps you! Sending good thoughts your way

  • Good luck! It is truly so awful, and "indigestion" is just not a bad enough word for it. I said a few months ago, they need a new term for it, like how there is HG for bad "morning sickness" there really does need to be a whole new term for people who can't keep anything down due to reflux.
  • Fingers crossed the Reglan works for you! The good news is we are so close and the end is in sight - that's what helps me on my really bad days.
