I'll crack open a few beers for this one...will a 6 pack be enough to get a good kid, you think? FYI...I didn't read the article. I just love the title. That's all I need.
I almost got my 2 oz pour of red wine on NYE, but was stopped by a blinding pregnancy headache...the peanut and I are apparently at war on this issue...
I had a sip of Dude's wine at dinner after Christmas. It was glorious. GLORIOUS.
I was trying to avoid it all pregnancy (more on principle than due to fear of any real risk) but I may start having a Friday night half-glass. I miss my "now the weekend begins" ritual.
@CDK211 there's a brand called Pacific Rim that makes a sweet Riesling. DH is not a wine drinker but he loves that and also a wine called Red Cat, made by Hazlitt Vineyards. It's seriously like drinking juice and I'm pretty sure the description on the bottle says it "pairs well with pizza or wings." Haha my kind of wine!

This! I pour my nice glass and sloooooowly sip it over an hour or two with dinner. Fabulous!
Luna- kels is @Thatkelsgirl she posted something, then DDed when she didn't like the responses she got. At that point everyone here started to piece together all her lies and came to the conclusion she was either a troll or just a liar. She never came back to answer for herself so we're all (im)patiently waiting for her return.

Red Cat is really the only red wine that I like (so far!). I love Riesling, and served it at every table of my vineyard wedding.
I actually haven't had a glass of alcohol during pregnancy, but I'm not afraid to have a glass. Sounds like I need to get drinking!

Ah! Didn't make the connection to the shorter version of the name. I saw the DDs in earlier threads, but started ignoring her posts because I was starting to suspect some amount of MUD. Looks like I missed the final act of the show.
Someone's going to have to give me the Cliff Notes version. I can literally only access the 14th page, which tells me nothing. Curiosity is killing me.
Which thread was it that started the ball rolling?
I'm not much of a wine-o but there's a winery in Michigan called the round barn winery (www.roundbarnwinery.com) that has the BEST white wine I've ever had. It's called edel doux. I could drink ALL THE BOTTLES in one sitting.
That kangaroo brand (I am drawing a blank on the name) has a good sweet red, too. I just forget what it was. I am clearly an awesome wine connoisseur
yellowtail? I love their shiraz....aaahhh i miss wine..

This year was the first year I found pumpkin wine that was being sold at a nearby winery. One of my girlfriends and I went there for a tasting and to buy a few bottles. This was in the beginning of October, so we planned a girls night to watch scary movies and drink all this pumpkin wine. Do you know when I got my BFP? The day before girls night! I will definitely be getting a few bottles of pumpkin wine for myself this year.
I knew it!!!' <:-P lol Good thing I had some wine over the holidays and babymoon! At our hotel they had a chocolate bar in the evening...and red wine! OMG it was heaven!
Re: Grab your popcorn...

It seems to me, the effect is related to lifestyle rather than the alcohol itself. Interesting article!
