I am alone, I have no family, and I'm going through a long drawn out miscarriage. I have an 11 month old with me. I am just terrified doing this alone. My partner doesnt live in the country, though he was here for me when I passed the sac on the 14th of December. We dont have a very stable relationship so emotionally this is just so awful. I feel so awful and alone. It is the most loneliest miscarriage

(
Anyway, I need to take the pills this evening. My doctor had me wait it out a couple of weeks to see if I would pass it all on my own. I did ultrasounds in between. 1 was on xmas eve. Then next was the day before new years eve. What wonderful holiday. I am already alone without parents or any family, except I have my beautiful daughter that I adore. Anyhow, he now gave me the pills, and I am here about to take them at 8pm. Im terrified at what is going to happen. I have no idea what to expect, this is my first miscarriage. I have someone who lives in my building who knows whats happening but thats about it. And she has two kids of her own as a single mom, so I don't know how much help she can really give.
So scared.
Re: starting miso this evening and alone! how AWFUL is this. (child mentioned)
I'm so sorry you are alone. I was terrified too, but the fear of the unknown was worse that what really happened. Do you have someone you can be in contact with via text? T&P!!

I took miso on 8/14 for my miscarriage and the worst of it for me took place over night. I would contract over night and then be ok during the day. I have 2 girls and although I felt horrible I was able to interact and take care of them. My husband had just started a new job and I moved to a new city and didn't have much support either. I second PP about reaching out to a neighbor. Let someone local know you are going through this just in case!!!
Please keep us updated!!!!!

So, my doctor has me taking 2 pills every 12 hours, so I just took my second set right now, and I have to do it 2 more times (tonight and tomorrow morning). Just want to thank you ladies because it just feels comforting to know someone in the world is listening and cares. If this doesn't work he wants me to repeat the process a couple days later. Then I have my ultrasound to check if its all gone. I hooooope this works cuz I dont want to do a surgery AND do it alone too
thank you ladies again, I will keep updating

little update: I'm not feeling much contractions as u mentioned u felt, but I'm bleeding and clotting. I called my on office and was told that since I'm bleeding I would have to do another u/s in about a week before I start the next batch of pills. I will do anything to avoid surgery!!
I'm not French, born and raised in Chicago but I love French and became an inner city French teacher.
