Ultrasound Saftey

I wanted to know if ultrasounds are safe during pregnancy, I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant and I had 9 ultrasounds in the 1st 12 weeks of my pregnancy including the nuchal translucency scan. I started bleeding at 9 weeks so I went to the ER, they did a ultrasound there and then the next day I went to my GYN and she did another one and diagnosed me with marginal placenta previa... So the ultrasounds just kept adding up. I concieved after 4 years so I was being closely monitored.

    I think the risk is slim, if any. Ive had 14

    I have had do many I have lost count. Maybe 12? I know ppl that had weekly. Baby turned out fine. Benefits out weight the risks. Your baby will be fine.
    BFP #1 (7/13/12) MC (8/14) 9 weeks. D & C 8/17.
    BFP #2 (5/18/13) due 1/26/14. Grow baby grow!

    It's fine. My last pregnancy was more high risk, I had 1 a week the whole pregnancy

    i had about 25 throughout my pregnancy.  it's fine.

    I've had somewhere around 15, maybe more.  I asked my doctor about it and he said it was fine, so that's what I'm choosing to believe.

    ive had over 30. they are fine

    Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
    Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
    4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
    Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
    Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
    Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
    Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

    Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
    Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
    Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

    4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
    Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

    My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!

    I think anything can be concerning outside of moderation - plenty are done all the time and they're not considered dangerous.
