Help me out guys, I'm freaking out. Dmitri is about all I can handle and I just got a BFP this morning. Is two way harder than one? It took 3 years to get him, but only 2 months for this new one so we weren't really expecting to be expecting yet. I'm happy D will have a sibling but I'm sad he won't be the center of my world anymore. I'm a little panicky.

I had the same reaction when I got my BFP less than a week ago, and already, I'm more calm. I think it's normal to panick a bit, but I'm sure everything will work out just fine.

Congrats! I had similar feelings when I got pregnant with N. It's not a hypothetical situation anymore, and your brain has to deal with the reality of it.
I have to say, it's not as complicated or scary as I built it up to be in my head. It's like when you had your first, and you feel overwhelmed in the beginning trying to figure out how to take care of your LO. You did that, and you do it well! The second one will be overwhelming at first too, but then you learn new tricks and how to cope.
You'll do great! Happy and healthy 9 months to you.

You'll be fine. Everyone adjusts and it works out great. I worried and had so much guilt during my pregnancy with J and it was all for nothing. G adjusted fine and we got into a schedule soon after he came home from the hospital.

Second, I only have one baby right now but I have the same fears about having two. So I understand how you are feeling. I'm sure it will be great though.

Breathe! It will be ok! I've only ever known life with two kids, and yes it has its challenges, but it's totally worth it. And agree with PP that soon you will fall into a new routine that will work for everyone. Congrats!

Congrats! I was so not ready for 2, but I have gotten more used to the idea now. I am always thinking about how will I do whatever thing I happen to be doing with another one? I think going out on our own may be difficult for a while, but it will get easier quickly I think. Plus they will be able to entertain each other soon.
