Back from doc, waiting for blood test results...

My doc took blood at my pregnancy confirmation appt this morning -- my last period started on 12/4, but I had some weird bleeding just before that, like I started a period on 11/22 and then again on 12/4... so she just wants to verify how far along I am. Also, I was low progesterone last time so she will check that. I am nervous about the results, since I really don't feel pregnant at all.

Any vibes you could send would be appreciated!

Also, I'm 20 lbs lighter than I was at the start of my last pregnancy, so I am not in the category of needing those appts every Friday throughout the third trimester -- woohoo!!!!

I'll be having a scheduled C/S -- my doc doesn't recommend me for a VBAC and I"m not really interested in trying!

Now just on pins and needles until they call tomorrow!

Thanks -- still have about 50 to lose, but at least it isn't 70!

Positive energy sent. I didn't have a lot of symptoms with my second pregnancy until between 8-10 weeks when I had nausea. Unlike with my first, when I was exhausted and boobs hurt before I even POAS. Every pregnancy is different, so try not to psych yourself out!

Thanks Kate, that does make me feel better. I guess if I am 8 weeks and not 4 weeks that explains that stomach flu last week maybe??? I didn't really have m/s with my last pregnancy, just sore boobies and severe severe exhaustion!

Also - FWIW I never felt pregnant the first time around. I found out at 4 weeks and had NO symptoms at all.

As time went on I had really mild food aversions...Looking back my eating habits were definitely off, but the day to day was not bad and I really did not feel much different than normal.

My money is that you are 4 weeks along and in a few weeks you'll start to feel it more.. (although it could just be an easy pregnancy with minimal symptoms)..... Chances are if your husband also got sick a couple weeks ago - it really was the stomach flu!

Good vibes coming your way! I didn't "feel" pregnant either until I found out and still it was a few weeks later that symptoms really started affecting me. I was around five weeks when I found out. Congrats on the 20 lbs also that's awesome!

So exciting! Congrats on the weight loss! That's awesome that you won't have to go for as many appointments toward the end this time! Can't wait to hear when your due date is!
