Play yard for multiples

I have a friend who had her twins in the same play yard when I saw them at around 4 months and I know they were over 10 lbs at that point.  Most of the play yards say 15# limit.  Not looking for anything fancy...under $100...don't want a changer on it or anything.  Since there are triplets, we'll be getting 2, just for quick naps during the day (you know, those awful cat naps:( )   Any recommendations?  Thanks!

Re: Play yard for multiples

  • if you're talking about a PNP. I got a very basic one with just the bassinet insert at Target for I think $75.
  • Loading the player...
  • It is only the bassinet part of the PNP play that has a 15lb limit.  We have a Joovy Room and a traditional PNP.  We used the Joovy for a playpen when they were small as it comfortably fit them both but we always napped them separately, one in that and one in the PNP.  In retrospect we used it for playing so infrequently I think we could have just gotten away with two bare bones cheap PNP since all we mainly use them for is sleeping when we travel.  At home we used RNP instead of PNP until they were 4 mos old.
