  • I'm so jealous of all these new Twinkie Tushes! I don't know how I haven't justified buying one to myself yet!

I had a slightly dyslexic moment where this looked like you were giving her a very inappropriate anatomical nickname.

  • Softest diapers ever!
  • Yes but these are so soft I want to pet them and feed them and call them George.
  • Not to be a downer... But the reason they're so great is bc they're so absorbent, which is because there are so many layers, correct?

    Yes

I believe so.  They are my first and only fitteds and I do love them so far.  My favorite part is all of the gorgeous prints they come out with!  They just seem like they'd be so comfy to wear!

k but so for those of us that just can't take the plunge, they're not trimmer than normal right? So adding inserts to what we have is the same idea?

I'm totally not trying to rain on anyone's parade. They look super soft and squishy.
I don't have one, but I'm pretty sure they are fairly bulky.

  • Are they similar to Sbish OBF in bulkiness or are they more so? Trying to determine if I want to try. You ladies talking it up make me want to give it a shot, but she's not soaking through an OBF right now unless she wakes up multiple times in the night to nurse.
  • The reason TTs are so nice is that, yes they are very absorbent. However, the way they are cut allows for much longer use as they are cut very large. So my chunky monkey fit one great. They look fab on a toddler as well. The materials are very plush and high quality as well, plus the prints are adorable. Many people do save 10 $ and buy Goodmamas since they were the old version of TT. However, Goodmamas are cut much smaller and only has 1 soaker. It's not nearly as absorbant as a TT. TTNNs on the other handare sslightly bigger and bulkier, but they have a wonderfully huge wetzone soaker and 19 total layers of OBF instead of 11 like a regular TT. I love both. The TTNNs were the only solution I've found for ON though. That giant ass soaker is the key there. It's amazing. I use the regular TTs for pics and daytime now.

  • So... I'm really jealous of all of you who have TTs and S'bish. I would LOVE more fitteds, but can't justify the cost when my (2nd-hand zombified) BSRBs work just fine. Lucky for me, I HATE fold down rise. I'm pretty sure it's the only thing standing between me and a Batman TT.

thanks for this, I've always wondered about the difference between goodmamas and TT. TT gets much more love on this board, but I've heard people in other places rave about goodmama. I think I will continue to save up for a TT one day.

  • So if your kid is just an average wetter and not a heavy wetter, a regular TT would likely get you through ON or no?
Just based on handling the diapers out of the box, I would say yes, but I will let you know for sure over the weekend.

Absolutely. It's what I used ON for Rosie for a time and for Cade before he started peeing more.

  • DS is still under 19 lbs. and only occasionally saturates his Sbish snapless. Most nights I don't even add another hemp doubler like many people do.

I'm guessing with the TTNNs I won't need to use all of the inserts initally. For one thing I don't think he needs that much absorbency, and for another I think they'll fit better with fewer inserts. It's nice to have a diaper with room to grow.
