I always like this question.

I went to school and church with Drew Powell. He has been in a lot of commercials, movies and tv shows. Most recently was on the Mentalist as one of the Red John suspects (the 2nd to the last). He's super nice and a great guy.

Know? No. But I've met a few. Maya Angelou, Stephen King, one of the actors from The Wire. And I got to have a group dinner with Gloria Steinem.

My BIL's therapist knows Amy Poehler. I dream of the day.

I guess I've met some celebrities - in college, I worked at a bookstore in Washington DC, and I saw a bunch of political figures and diplomats - Joe Lieberman, a couple of kings or prime ministers or the like (it's more than 15 years ago - be kind with my failing memory), and I checked out Madeline Albright - held her credit card. That was cool. I also had Ben Stein come up to me and ask to be directed to a very particular subgenre of poetry. He was wearing a suit and converse sneakers.

Aside from that, I met Dan Savage (hello awesome man) and Nancy Pelosi and Nathan Englander (a little more unknown, but seriously awesome author) at book signings.

At my synagogue, I saw Supreme Court Justice Elana Kagan, but I missed the day Ruth Bader Ginsberg was here. That was a bummer, since I knew in advance that she would be here, unlike Kagan who I just happened to see.

Someone I dated played briefly in the NFL.

Can't think of anyone else.

I went to Hebrew school with a girl that was on SNL in 2010, and there was a guy I went to High School with that ended up on one of those dating reality shows. I've met a ton of celebrities though, and I've worked some through my job. Most recently I worked with Nick Cannon for a charity event and he was super nice and so great with all the kids.

A kid I went to school when when I was younger is an up and rising comedian... another girl is not really famous, but she's always hanging out at the Playboy Mansion... and a few more are working on country music careers, etc. but nobody you'd know.. yet.

Otherwise, I met Pauly Shore last year. haha

I grew up spending a lot of time in LA so we were always "running into" celebrities at restaurants, grocery stores, the dry cleaners...

Long story, but when I was twelve I once found myself alone in a room with the entire cast of Saved By the Bell (am I dating myself?) and considered it the greatest moment of my young life.

I have several friends who are working actors (my own original career plan). Probably the most successful is Zach Levi (he was Chuck on Chuck, voice work in Tangled, was just in Thor 2, was in at least one of the Chipmunk movies). We did high school drama...we even had each other's first kissing scene together in the musical Oklahoma!'...he's a good guy.

Ummm. That would be the highlight of MY life. Period. I actually switched seats with Tiffany Amber Thiessen and her husband once on a plane. She had a blond mustache which shocked me. Lol. It was still awesome.

A few former friends from middle school/high school have been in some movies and TV shows. Most notably BIG roles in True Blood.

I have also hung out with a pretty famous Academy award winner, and been to her house. She was super nice and I was very star stuck the first 3 times we met. Plus, she had dated Brad Pitt, which I though was super cool at the time.

Randomly, my friends and I spent the weekend with a famous Vegas cheesy magician. He was super nice, had a great house, and it was a blast. Plus, he gave us all the gossip on people like Cameron Diaz and Britney.

The only kind of famous person I know is a fashion designer. He was one of the head designers for Burberry when I first met him and now works for a different label...I think his current label is owned by Tommy Hilfiger so they're buddies. Fun fact: the way I know him is I modeled for him for a long time for his side hobby of photography. One of my photos was his Christmas card one year and I ended up on David Bowie's fridge. Haha.

I once ended up backstage after a Jason Mraz concert (apparently chatting with the backup band will get you places...wasn't even trying, just wanted to talk to them!). I ended up hanging out with Ingrid Michaelson most of the time (one of the sweetest people I've met!) but I did get a kiss on the cheek from Jason.

I grew up in Laguna Beach so I knew a lot of people on the reality show Laguna Beach... I refused to watch it though

Also went to school with Theo Greenly who was on the Disney TV show The Jersey and had tiny roles in Jerry Mcguire and A.I. (I'm sure nobody knows who he is hehe)

My sister did shots with the band Matchbox 20, although she didn't know who they were a the time. She also knows the creator of Yo Gabba Gabba (who is also the lead singer of the Aquabats)

My cousin was the lead singer for a country band called ricochet.

They aren't together anymore but every once in a while I heard the song her wrote about my aunt on the radio. And it was cool to see his music video on CMT.

I've Facebooked with Kevin Hearne...one of my favorite authors.

Other than that....nope;-)

But im jealous of kissing Zach Levi too. He seems like he would be such a sweet guy.;-)

You couldn't pick a nicer Hollywood husband! In high school we played opposite each other in two different musicals. We were similar "types"...good at playing the "comic lead", solid singers and willing to dance. Someone else always played the romantic leads and we got the even better second parts. So in Oklahoma we played Will Parker and Ado Annie (super great parts) and we kissed for eight shows and two months of rehearsal. I was a year ahead of Zach so he was like a little bro figure to me - so at the time it was hilarious! I'm proud of him, he has gotten some of our mutual friends roles in his projects and spends a ton and time and effort on charity work. Also, he is back doing musical theater and has been on Broadway the past few months in a new show...once a theater geek, always a theater geek!

A guy that went to my high school plays for the Cincinnati Reds, Todd Frazier. His two brothers were my age and each played or were drafted to the major leagues for a short time, too.

I've met Kenny Chesney and Willie Nelson.

When we were younger, my grandparents took my sister and I to play rooftop minigolf on the boardwalk and the only other family up there was Bruce Springsteen and his kids. He let us play through when his kids were taking a while and wasn't a jerk at all.

DH went to college with Josh Grobin. They had some classes together and he went to one of his birthday parties.

I met Michelle Pfiefer and helped her pick out an Italian glass Christmas ornament for her husband as a gift. That was pretty amazing, she is very down to earth, beautiful, and didnt wear any make up.
My aunt in law's cousin is McSteamy from Grey's Anatomy... Although I've begged to meet him, haven't yet

I knew a couple of Broadway people when I lived in New York, most notably Susan Egan who was the original Belle in Beauty and the Beast, and the voice of Megara in Disney's Hercules. I have not seen her since I was pregnant with my first, but she has always been a sweet friend and incredibly kindhearted person. She is the most un-intimidating actress ever!
