So did I manage to have the largest baby? 10lbs 11oz. I never got to use any of our newborn diapers :-) Happy New year to all of you with babies inside and out.
Wow. My not so little one was 9lbs 6 and is still in that 90% band with weight. My friend with a 10-11wk old texted me the other day so say hers was now 6kg and wait till i was lifting that each day. i texted back he was 5.5kg already at 4wks. We got some larger sized newborns but he's outgrown those now
Dear friends and relations!! I wasn't equipped to push out 5#15 (hence 4 c/s)! Seriously, all my sadness and ambivalence about not getting to have a vaginal birth, is totally resolved by all the recent posts about tearing. I shall happily put coconut oil on my incision and all my sorries to the hurting lady bits.
Mine was "only" 9lbs 12oz. I had a small episiotomy with only one stitch, but the nurses think he cracked my tailbone. My ladybits faired pretty well .
Oh My Goodness! My nearly 4 month old still isn't 10 lbs!! We went to her weekly pedi appointment on Tuesday and she's tipping the scales at 9 lb 8 oz. We are still wearing newborn diapers. I never dreamed that I would be buying newborn diapers still.
Re: Biggest Baby??
Mine is 2 mos. old today and still nb diapers. However, in all fairness, he was only 3 lbs 7 oz.
