I've been lurking for a few days and wanted to introduce myself. I just got my BFP a few days ago, at 12dpo. Last month, I had a natural miscarriage at 5w3d, TTC #2. Doctor gave us the OK to keep TTC, and now I'm both cautiously happy and terrified to be pregnant again.
Today, at 15dpo, I went to see my doctor. I was concerned because I've been charting and the same day I got my BFP my temp also crashed below the coverline and I woke up drenched in sweat. I was certain AF was on the way until I got up and POAS. It was positive. My temp was down the next morning, too, but with a darker positive test. Then I stopped temping and POAS-ing because I was freaking out, and I made an appointment with my doctor.
I got my first beta done today and it came back low for 15dpo, at just 19. It's not outside the realm of possibility on Betabase, and I know it's not the number that matters, but the doubling. However, the nurse on the phone was none too optimistic. I had my progesterone checked today, too, but the results take a little while to come back from the lab, so my doctor went ahead and put me on Cronine progesterone supplements just to be safe. I did the first one today. I know some ladies here are on progesterone supplements as well. Did anyone have low betas that went up once they started supplementation? I'm just in need of some information from real people, not just Dr. Google. I could probably use some thoughts and prayers, too.

Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC! Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case. Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal. Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities. Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!
