Sitting in a waiting room now, scheduled for a c-section at noon. Said scheduling happened like 15 minutes ago, when my regular doctor got back in the office after the holiday. I'm only 37W 4D, but they're very concerned about my son's growth restriction, so he's coming now. I think my doctor would have made it tomorrow, but the weather forecast is beyond dicey, my cervix is starting to look ripe, and the silly baby is STILL breech. And I skipped breakfast today just in case.
Also hoping my husband gets here in time!
UPDATE: My darling son is here! Just a hair under 5 pounds, breathing great, normal blood sugar! And oh MAN is my belly sore.

IVF#1 w/ICSI: 3/18 BCP, Lupron down reg, Follistim 300IU, LDHCG 10units, Lupron 5units, Ovidrel trigger on 3/18. ER 3/21
8 retrieved, 5 mature, 3 smaller no fertilization w/IVF. 3/5 fertilized w/ICSI. Day 5 Fresh transfer scheduled 3/26 or day3 on Saturday if any arrest.

Actually, husband is amazing. Including at breastfeeding. Anyone who says breastfeeding excludes Dad has never seen a guy take an 8-hour-old who has no idea why people are shoving nipples in his mouth, and a mom who's too sore to move and dazed with pain, exhaustion and morphine, and singlehandedly maneuver and rub the baby until latch happened.
