FYE

So the background is, Speshul Snowflake said she was "hurt and upset" that her H didn't buy her an expensive push present. Someone posted a gif of someone laughing and she decided that was bullying and flipped out. Then this happened:

Re: FYE

  • I think at how many pages there were and thought "Man there are a lot of people from the UK/Ireland."

Oh good lord. I'm on page 4. Do people not read? No one said getting a gift was a big deal but that people who EXPECTED or DEMANDED one were ridiculous. -bangs head against wall-
The sad thing is, I actually agreed with her general POV...I've asked DH for things before...but then she went all, "you guyz are bulliiieeeees"...

  • @BPaws what's the weekly roundup?
  • That chick is nuts... On a side note, it hurts my heart that some ladies have not encountered the true joy that comes from fresh cheese curds or (even better) fried cheese curds. Fresh cheese curds are readily available in most of the grocery stores in Wisconsin which is a beautiful thing.

Seriously. SO STINKIN GOOD.  I would love some poutine right now.  And just a little snow.  And maid-rites. And Taco Johns. I miss the midwest.
I don't know what maid-rites and taco johns are. But I LOVE tacos. I'm getting so hungry now.

  • I've always wanted to visit Wisconsin. Solely for their cheese.
We actually order them fresh from Wisconsin. The cheese curds. Because i grew up there. And people in the south dont know about the magic of cheese curds.
------ Mars Cheese Castle, anyone??? :D
I love the Cheese Castle...I moved away for a bit and was SHOCKED when I came back and the old one was gone and there was a new one...so fancy!!

@dlsexton Most places, yes. I'd say 90% of our fast food chains that serve fries.
