Need baby monitor rec

Can anyone recommend a decent baby monitor? I want one that plugs in because I don't want to go through a million batteries or forever be recharging them, but it seems most of what I'm seeing online are battery operated. I don't want anything fancy, just audio coverage and not too expensive ($30-$50) range. Thanks!

We love our Angelcare monitor. They also make one that is not a motion detector. It takes rechargeable batteries. From a second time mom, let me suggest to you that you want one you can move around the house with easily and not be constantly searching for a plug or unplugging other stuff to plug your monitor in.

I have mobigo and you can plug in the parent monitor or run it on battery but the camera plugs in only

V-Tech safe & sound audio monitor. The parent unit plugs in and also has a rechargeable battery if you need to carry it around with you. It was recommended in baby bargains. $35 for one parent unit, and they also have one available with 2 parent units if you want.

We have the Vtech safe and sound too which came highly recommended to us. Haven't used it, but the reviews are pretty good and the price is good.
