MIL rant ahead
Why is it that MILs need to claim physical and personality traits. She is always claiming that he gets everything from his dad. Today when someone said DS looked like me she replied that the person should work for the UN as they were obviously just trying to make me feel good because he looks nothing like me. WTH? I think he is a good mix of both of us.
Later when someone commented on his chubby feet she claimed that he comes by it naturally. No, excuse me, I rock a mean cankle fuck you very much. And unfortunately it looks like as of right now LO got my chubby ankles and feet.
I love when DS reminds me of his dad. I just don't know why she feels she needs to claim all of these traits as hers. Is it a mother in law and grandson thing??
And for fun. Here is dad and son in matching jean on jean outfits.
Edited- spelling
Re: I am the one with cankles!
Besides, it's what on the inside that counts anyhow ... I always respond to MIL with "well.. As long as he has my brains"... When im extra annoyed.
At first ds looked like bds mini me, nowthat hes older hes starting to look like me.
Im sorry your mil insists your ds looks like his daddy. If it makes you feel bad, i think your ds is adorable and looks like both of you
DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18

Edited- to fix hard words.
Had our precious baby girl, Little Miss E, on August 14, 2013 ♥ 143 → I.love.you. ♥

And while holding L with a bunch of people standing around, she said "and this one doesn't look a thing like her mother!"
It wouldn't bother me one bit if L was an exact clone of DH! But shut up MIL- it's getting old!
