ruled out by last name?

since everyone seems a bit bored... another poll!  what are some names that you liked but had to get rid of because it didn't go with your last name?  for us, baby's last name will be Guy, so we had to axe

Mia Guy (me a guy)

Maya Guy (my!  a guy!)

Jasmine Guy (whitley!)

    Yes.  Our last name is Kaszynski.  We will not name our child Ted (although it would never be on our list anyway).

    me a guy....hahaha!  That wouldn't be good!!

    We're having a girl and are struggling with deciding on a name.  Our last name is Crowe so almost anything we came up with seems okay.  Our top names are Joey and Mackenzie.  Any ideas???

    Our last name starts with an "S".  So I told DH, I didn't want first names starting with an "A" and middle names starting with an "S" so our child's initials would be ASS.  I think it's a fair request.  Also PMS would not be good.  There are several bad combos.  lol!

    unfortunately we have to rule out all H names because our last name starts with an O and I don't want my poor child to have the initals HO.

    Anything that ends in "ey" or "ie" since our last name ends in "ey", it sounds too repetitive and sing-songy.

    Our last name is a very strong J, so there were lots of names I didn't think would work. Which is sad, my favorite boy names are Js.

    Think Joe Jonas... I just think that sounds silly.

    Our last name is Klar... and both of our names are D-names. 

    We ruled out all D-names because we didn't want to be THAT family (where everyone has the same initials)

    For a girl, we also ruled out Claire (Claire Klar? LOL) and pretty much any other name that has a CL-sound in it.

    Our last name is Corso, so we can't name our child Cane. Not that I was considering it, but Cane Corso is a breed of dog.

    We can't use any name that ends in "er" since our last name ends in "er". That rules out a ton of cute names, like Piper and Harper. Oh well...

    Everyone prounces our last name Hammer, it's not, and my favorite boy name is Jack. Jack Hammer! I'm sooooooooo bummed. I've loved the name Jack for years and my dads name is Jack but how could we do that to our little guy!
