PP hair loss?

Anyone else still experiencing this? I'm amazed at the amount of hair I am still losing on a daily basis (and that I still have some left on my head). It didn't last this long after LO1 was born.

It's really annoying, and I am finding my hair everywhere. I think that I am worse than the dog!

Anyone know what's considered normal? Or any tips to get it to stop?

Re: PP hair loss?

  • No tips, but it's normal to lose 80-90 hairs per day (beauty school).

  • I swear I thought I was going bald when it started.

  • I'm not sure if I'm still losing bc I also didn't know that I lost it. Then one day I happen to that all and I mean ALL the hair framing my face was really short. My hair is a fucking disaster zone at this point. Hideous.

  • I am still losing quite a bit! It is ridiculous. It started at 3 months pp. I do think it has slowed down just a hair though! Hahahaha!

  • Even worse than the hair loss is the regrowth. :( I'm a complete mess of new shorty short baby hairs.

  • Yes! I shed enough hair to make a wig almost everyday. I'm constantly sweeping up hair in the bathroom, baby's playroom, and even his crib...it's awful.

And @tamaraR4, me too! My super short hairs just stick straight up and I have no idea how to make them even look presentable.
  • @MommyAndHerLatte Glue. Nothing short would work, lol ;). I've tried gel, mousse, hairspray, combinations... Boo. Short of super glue or shaving my head I'm at a complete loss.
