We are on our way home!!!! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. We had the second best pediatric surgeon and the best pediatric anestheologist in this area working on our boy. His incision doesn't even have stitches only steri strips. It's a half moon over his belly button and he has no restrictions as far as sitting (assisted obviously) and tummy time.
Side Note: when we were at our local ER I told the dr I wanted to go to Children's Medical Center in Dallas, but he misunderstood me and sent us out to Medical City Dallas which I had never heard of. I truly believe it was God's work so we'd have the team we did and he'd do so well.

I've been wondering about his name though, how is it pronounced and what's the story behind it? (Sorry, I'm a bit of a name nerd and its one I haven't heard before so I'm interested).
