So, DD is getting bottles of breast milk and 1 bottle of formula a day as well as 3 meals of purees. We just started formula in the past two weeks since I was not pumping enough to keep up and I really really hate EPing and didn't want to put in the extra pump time to try to boost my supply.
Anyways, she still only eats purees and gags/projectile vomits everything else. We are trying to work on adding things with chunks/ trying puffs etc but very very little success at this point. She does however eat purees great....no problem there. So, once she turns 1 year old do I / can I finally quit pumping and switch to WCM or should I wait until she is able to eat only table food?
I'm going to ask the pedi at her 1 year well child appointment but I was just wondering if anyone knew. Also, she was born on 2-14-13 six weeks early and as of yesterday (10.5 mths) weighs 15 lbs but has always gained steadily and the drs are always happy with her weight up until this point. I'm REALLY ready to break up with my pump but want to do what is best for DD.....this food stuff is so complicated!
