Christmas gift for LO?

I had some ideas of gifts for DS, but everyone else seems to be buying these items for him. I think he should at least get one cool toy from Santa and something special from us, but I could use some help?!?! Also, I DS has 2 cousins that are his age, and I'm blanking on what to get them. For shower etc, my sisters and I always seemed to buy gifts in 3s so that each of them had the same thing. But I'm kind of stumped on what to buy all of them at this age (especially because 1 is walking, 1 is crawling, and 1 isn't mobile yet; oh and one of them already has a ton of handmedown toys). Suggestions?

    I want to get LO a ball pit! He LOVES balls its so funny. The ball pit comes with 50 so he'd go crazy crawling in and out and chasing them all over the house

    Sounds fun. Does the ball pit collapse down at all? Might look into this for first birthday.
