I'm looking to update my wardrobe with some additional "lounge wear" in anticipation of my lounging-around post baby boy's arrival. What's your favorite place for comfy clothes that you *could* wear in public but probably shouldn't. I'm talking one step above PJs but with major comfort. Go!
I hope to create a real siggy but first I need some sleep!
Yoga pants. I wear them to school mass now, with a sweater, and pretend they're real pants. Also, leggings, with a shirt of an appropriate length, of course. And there's always sweatpants. I prefer the ones with no words across the patootie.
What size does everyone get for postpartum? That's what is confusing me...
With DD, I was back in pre-prego size for lounge clothes since they were all stretchy. I anticipate the same this time around. I can always rock the maternity leggings with a belly band the first few days if necessary.
To everyone else, wear do you buy yoga pants that you like? I also prefer no booty words.

I like Old Navy. They seem to run long, which is my main criteria.
Size wise? No clue. I'm planning to wear maternity pants for awhile.
I have a couple of really cute and comfy 3/4-sleeve wrap dresses that I sometimes wear around the house with either a pair of leggings or yoga pants under them. I plan to take at least one of them in my hospital bag because my sister ended up with an emergency c-section and couldn't wear anything but a dress on the way home with the wound still healing. I figure a comfy, easy dress would also be helpful if I ended up tearing or with an episiotomy as well.
My standard "uniform" when I work from home is Yoga Pants, Tank Top, and a light weight zip up jacket (my favorite one is actually from Walmart- ha!). Yoga Pants are usually from Gap or Old Navy.
I asked for yoga pants and zip-hoodies for Christmas, and I got like 4 of each as gifts. Size-wise, I went for the same size bottoms I've been wearing during pregnancy (s/m/l terms), and then went up a size in tops. Up a size in tops means I can zip up over the bump and huge boobs or hide the muffin top for however long I need to.
I like yoga pants from Gap and Victoria's Secret pink collection. They do sometimes have words but they are usually on the band (not the actual butt) which means for me they are always covered by my shirt. I actually don't even think I have any actual words there- I think I have a shamrock on one of them, but again it's not on the butt
I love my Nike sweats/yoga pants. They are long and fit really well. I find the best deals/pants at TJ Maxx or the Nike outlet.
I'm normally a size M pre pregnancy. I wore size L pants for about 2 weeks after DS was born.
I am hoping my post partum wrap will help with my shirt sizes. I wore some of my BE maternity fitted tanks (they shrink when you wash them) and they helped to suck in my floppy stomach.
WHAT? Y'all don't have Lululemon?? Best yoga pants on earth. An investment, yes, but I've gotten 6-8 years out of some pairs. And they make your ass look fan-fucking-tastic.

This is a good point! I do love these and have a pair in my "real" size, but I'm not sure I would spring for them for a maternity leave. We all shrink so fast (hopefully!). Plus, it would make me cry to see them trashed with breastmilk stains and knees worn out from crawling around on the floor! Pink yogas are sort of, well, disposable
This exactly. I wear those for actual yoga but not really for laying around.

I've found some great cheap yoga pants at target that I've bought in different sizes to use throughout pregnancy! I am partial to VS, but I am cheap when it comes to anything maternity! The pants seem to be holding up well and are super comfy too.
I have a few pairs of yoga pants from Aerie, American Eagle's sister store and I love them. I am six feet tall and they are long enough for me. I agree with PP's though - TJ Maxx is the best place to shop for fitness/lounge clothes.
This post is making me feel the need to shop in the new year!!!! I have ZERO yoga/lounge pants besides the 2 motherhood pair I've been wearing all pregnancy... they are getting pretty rough looking... eek..
I only thought of it because I remembered that my favorite post baby gift I received was a pair of flowy lounge pants and a soft henley shirt - I wore that combo non stop in those post baby weeks. That set was from Loft but I haven't found anything similar yet. The search continues!
I hope to create a real siggy but first I need some sleep!
Costco has awesome yoga pants, flattering, quality material, and I believe they are only $20. They are the only pants besides my leggings that I can still wear pregnant as well so I use them for prenatal workouts.
I'm in love with Old Navy fold over yoga pants, I just about ugly cried because I just got my order for two new pairs today and the first pair was wrong, I was scared they were both wrong luckily the second pair was right and I didn't have to cry, thank goodness!
