  That's really good on the nurse. Clomid isn't a get-pregnant-quick vitamin. It's a hard core and dangerous drug, especially unmonitored. I ended up in the hospital on my third round of it when I had no issues the first two times.
  So I know it's frustrating, but she made the right call. FX for a miracle for you.

  TTC with PCOS since November 2009
  

  IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
  IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
  IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
  beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
  beta #2 11/28 = 2055
  Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!

  You're right. I've done Clomid before years ago when we first started fertility tx. I guess I was more surprised at the hsg part of it for some reason. Oh well, I'm not doing it anyway

  Yeah, the nurse made the right call. Clomid is a very serious medication and has a lifetime max.  It would be terrible if you were taking Clomid and meanwhile you had a blocked tube or your husband's SA was the reason you weren't getting PG.  You would be needlessly subjecting your body to a powerful medication.  GL!!
