we have our a/s on Thursday, so I'm not sure if it will even be a problem, but our front runner boy's name is James Walter. (Walter is a family name, two of our grandfathers' names, my FIL's name, and DH's middle name. ) I'm not a huge fan of Jimmy as a nn, but I really like Jamie. I did a little research, and Jamie is a fairly popular male name/nickname in Scotland/England, but it is more common as a girls name in the US. My mom thinks it is "too girly" for a boy. I think it is cute and if he wants a more manly name when he is older, he can go by James or Jim. Thoughts?
