I've googled and read through several websites and they all say that only the taste if milk might change during a period, but not the composition or nutritional value. However, AF showed for the first time this morning and dd has bee a total crab since she nursed this morning. Screaming, fidgety, and just generally not content. I know supply can dip, so I've offered to nurse her more often than I normally would , but she doesn't seem to be actually eating more than usual.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Do you just wait it out?

AF can cause dehydration. If you don't stay properly hydrated, your milk supply may drop a bit during your period, which could cause a cranky baby who isn't getting as much milk as she's used to.
