Happy jan 1st everybody!

It is 7am here, looks like a nice sunny day. My 1st day off work, yay!

Any of us left to have our babies? Haha. Congrats to all the new mamas, it has been so exciting seeing all the pics and reading the stories. I am sure there will be a few more today.

For the rest still cooking, I hope everyone has really nice, easy, speedy labours, and all the best for your LOs. I really look forward to seeing everyone's pics soon (hopefully mine soon too!)

    Happy New Year to you @tesskerr !! It is still NYE here, but almost 7pm. If my pregnancy insomnia continues tonight, I might make it to the New Year :)

    DD, DH, and I are all pigging out on yummy apps and watching the The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. My how times have changed!

    @ccip82 I love the military tattoo! My best friend and I spent NYE 1999 in Edinburgh and it was amazing! The typical 3 day Hogmanay celebration was a week for millennium. We decided.On our semester abroad that we'd go back for it when we fell in love with Edinburgh in general. It was one of the best trips I've taken. Ahh to be 21 again! ETA: I left out details

    @megs12914 I don't even have a newborn and I kept forgetting! FI said we have to do something fun next year (we were in Thailand last year, queenstown New Zealand year before, Gold Coast Australia year before...) and I had to remind him we will have a 1 year old! I don't think we will be celebrating over seas or anything. I think we are going to find it hard trying to balance our "old life" with new family life.
