I think the kitchen was one of the few rooms I even came close to liking! Although, I now totally want to redo my entire house in reclaimed railroad ties
That's a bit elaborate! Much too luxurious for me. The only rooms I could see living in are the kitchen, the one with the big stone fireplace, and the pool!
A little too gaudy for my taste. And then the den doesn't match the rest if the house at all. The pool, movie theater and kitchen are pretty cool though.
Ok now that I've looked at the pics I must say this house looks AMAZING! I don't even know what I would do with that many bedrooms! If the pictures are breath taking could you imagine seeing it in person?
I would have to redo the entirety of the house (save the kitchen) otherwise I couldn't live in it. I'd feel like a stranger in a museum every day of my life!
The kitchen was lovely and the movie theater and library were really neat! I think the bedrooms were a bit gaudy. I'm on the fence about the dining room. I feel like that should be a spectacular place and I have a bit of a love affair with 18th century Europe.
This makes me happy to be out of Manhattan, despite my love for it. I lived in a shoebox with one bedroom that seemed to suck up every paycheck. Now I'm in double the house for 1/8 of the price elsewhere. Nothing like living there, though. And I'd soooo take that house.
