Baby has a Noisy knee?

My LO's right knee makes a pop sound ( like the sound you get when you crack your knuckles ) it doesn't do it all the time but it does it several times a day. I will mention it to his ped next week but I was curious if anyone has heard of this or had this happen before and does it mean anything? I tried google and it talked more about LO's backs popping when you pick them up.

DD was very poppy. I chalked it up to her still being mostly cartiledge. Good thing to mention to peds, but I wouldn't worry.

DS had this in a shoulder just after birth and we were told it was normal and would go away (and it did). Worth asking.

Yeah DD1 did this a lot when she was littler and I asked the doctor about it...totally normal. I think she said it was cartilage?

Yes, dd also had this. It really freaked me out but pedi said totally normal :-) it stopped after a few weeks.
