In other news... this kid is staying put for a while!

My blood pressure was good this morning and my swelling is down. For now, we're staying the course of pain management and keeping this kid in as long as possible. I was surprised that my blood pressure was so good this morning, because that is definitely not typical for me. But whatever, I'll take it. I had been thinking about it a lot lately, and decided that I really don't want to induce unless it is absolutely necessary. So I am very happy for today's appt.

Just when I think I have things figured out, life throws a curve ball -- just to show me that I actually don't have control, I suppose. But for today, that's good news!

Right now, yes. But by the end of the day, that will definitely change. I was more worried about my face, though. I've been having these luscious lips you wouldn't believe, lol.

@ccip82, today is ok. But last Thursday it was a bit alarming. Over a 3 or 4 hour period, my bottom lip swelled up to about 3x its normal size. But it's back down to "normal" swelling now. Whatever that means, haha.

Oh wow! That is pretty alarming! I'm glad it is back down to normal swelling and FX it and your BP/swelling issues continue to stay low.

Yes. I am getting my home monitor calibrated today too. The problem with the right quadrant pain is that it's the same general area as my right kidney pain. When I've asked doctors how to differentiate, they have told me that it will be closer in to my stomach than my kidney pain is, so hopefully I'd be able to distinguish if it becomes necessary. I still have some urine dipsticks left too!
