Monday Appointments

Please excuse me if there is another but I didn't see the daily appointment thread today. Anyone got one? I am going to see the doctor this afternoon at 4:30pm EST just for a regular check-in and heartbeat listen. I am hoping to get my first and (hopefully) only ultrasound scheduled so that will be exciting.

I have my 16 week regular appointment today at 12:45 EST. Hoping to hear the heartbeat this time, though last time we didn't have any luck and I ended up getting to sneak a peek on the U/S instead.

Also, I had an early 1hr glucose challenge a couple weeks ago due to PCOS and being at risk for GD and I am interested to hear how the Dr. will interpret the results/how strict she will be with my eating from here on out. She seemed to think I wouldn't pass (she said to me, "WHEN you fail the test we will have to put you on the GD diet.") However, according to Dr. Google, my numbers should be well within normal limits. We shall see!

I have a 14 week appt today at 11am CST. I get so nervous beforehand. A friend just miscarried so that has awakened some fear that had died down a little. Hearing the HB will really put me at ease.

ETA Everything went great and I am so thankful!

I have my first ultrasound to check cervical length due to my history of PTL today at 3:30 EST. I'm really freaking out. PGAL brain is killing me today.

I had my monthly appt this morning at 8:20am EST. I'm14w2d. I brought my mom so she could hear the heartbeat for the first time and we heard it loud and clear! :-) The doctor said my NT scan results all came back negative so that was also great to hear.

I had my monthly appt today, 16 weeks. Regular ole appointment, pee in a cup, weight, bp, heard heartbeat again today, 157.

Ok and the verdict is...... We're having a BABY! Lol the cord was in the way! Baby had it's legs spread eagle too but I guess the cord is super long and was hiding anything it may or may not have. So, still team green. But baby is measuring perfectly and is getting big! Legs already above my belly button (no wonder I'm huge already) and heartbeat was 145bpm.

Oh come on!!! I'm dying to know!!

I have my exam today at 4:30 with my OB. I am hoping he will put the portable US on just for peace of mind. He did last time.

Thursday I go back to the Dr that did my NT scan for my 16 week US!!!!!

Mine is at 5:30 today for the standard 16 weeks - pee, blood, etc... I'm hoping for an u/s (they never tell us, I'm just suddenly called in by the technician) where I can finagle a guess on gender just for curiosity's sake! We'll be scheduling our anatomy scan today too. Love hearing the HB too!

Just had my cervical check. Everything looks great. Baby had a great heart rate, left with a ton of pictures. Finally, I'm able to breathe today.

Well, lost three pounds. Also doc said that even though my numbers were good for the glucose test she thinks that I should still eat a diabetic diet to keep losing weight. Otherwise, just a normal checkup. Heard the heartbeat and everything else looked fine

My appointment was at 230 and everything was good. Baby's heartbeat was 150.
I get to have the anatomy scan and find out what I'm having at my next appointment on January 28. I'm so excited!

I've retuned as well... the positives: HB is at 156 bpm and my screenings came back 1: 10,000 for any abnormality. The negative: I've gained enough weight that the nurse questioned the scale's accuracy.

Had my appointment today, waited 3 hours and then told my Dr had to leave for a csection. It was fine we still saw out little one and heard her heartbeat. She was very active made us smile

FINALLY had my dr appt today! I gave him an ear-full.

not mad, just had a lot to talk about! I told him all the problems I've been having and he said to take vitamin B6 and I gave a BUNCH of blood so they could check my thyroid, iron, and everything else they usually do. I think I'll get the results tomorrow! I hope SOOO bad it's something we can treat and I'll feel better! Dr also did an ultrasound and the babes was moving around like crazy!

Another good appointment too. After last time searching forever for the heartbeat the baby was super cooperative this time and was front and center right where she set down the doppler. I think she said 145 then 150 for the heartbeat. I finally have an ultrasound date so the countdown begins, I will feel so much better once we get a peak and see that things are looking ok in there. DS's ultrasounds were a ton of stress so I am really hoping to get an everything looks good the first time around this time.

As a side note DS was super sweet. I was telling him about my appointment and the baby in my belly and he lifts up the end of my shirt and just kisses my belly and exclaims "I kissed the baby". It was so randomly sweet since usually I have to ask him for kisses for myself (though he does love to dole them out) but kissing the baby was so random and unprompted. He is going to be an awesome big brother.

We had our 16 week appt. yesterday morning and all is well! Baby girl's HB ranged from 148-150, which MW said was perfect. We have started the rotation of meeting all the Dr. at my OB's office. This was our first meeting with the MW and hopefully we don't have to see her again. We didn't really care for her!

I always go in with a list of questions and I think we left with the same questions unanswered. Oh we'll, all I care about is baby girl is doing great and we have our anatomy scan on the 23rd so we will get to see her then and hopefully get my question answered by a different Dr.
