What was your worst gift?

I can't say we had a worst gift, but I'm sure some got some craptastic stuff. Let's hear em!

R got a ton of clothes in sizes that don't fit him. Everything from 6 months to 3T (we're in 12 months). DH's Aunt got R an "Irish Hooligan" shirt for St Pattys Day and expects him to wear it. It's size 6-12 months and in that brand he's already 12-18 months so my MIL told me I have to find the same one in his size for the event.

But other than that we got some good loot. Ill totally keep popping out babies if these are the gifts they'll get :P

My brother and SIL sent DH and I a napkin holder. I don't care at all though because they got DS some nice stuff (clothes in sizes that will fit and a toy). I just think it's funny that they thought a napkin holder is a good gift.

I'm a big fan of getting clothes in sizes to come. I'm always stocking up on the next couple if sizes.

I can't complain cause A was totally spoiled by everyone but she received clothes from children's place in sizes ranging from 18months - 5t. 5t? like come on she's still in 9 months clothes I don't think she'll have that much of a growth spurt between now and spring. To make matters worse we weren't given a gift receipt and all the tags have been ripped off. They were really nice clothes too, just in sizes that she can not wear for a while.

I thought so too but then I talked to my mom and she got the exact same one from them too! Haha

Oh DH got the worst gift from the same aunt. Boxer shorts and on the front it has a camel and it says "Guess what day it is?! On the tush it says "HUMP DAY!!!!" I thought it was hilarious, DH did not

I'm pretty sure my dad bought out the entire supply of Duck Dynasty gear at WalMart. I got a t-shirt, a wall tin, two duck calls, a keychain, and a talking plush doll.

I don't even watch Duck Dynasty. I'd might enjoy it, if I had television and gave two shits about reality tv...but I don't.

Mine was more funny than anything but my H's grandparents gave me a money holder card with no money in it. I know it was an accident, but they are in their late 80's and I'm not going to say anything. DH will just have to share his $50 with me. lol.

We're not done yet because we have my family Christmas this weekend and my mom is known for some craptastic gifts but so far it's been Cinderella (I already have it) and some little jars to hold earrings in. Nothing terrible just not my style.

Smelly sticky body mist, lotion. Most likely from the dollar store which irritated me bc we have a $25 min for secret santa.
and my 4 yr old got a bunch of nail polish and body glitter and my 7 mo old got a 0-3 onsie set

Ouch. My mil bought me one of those two piece sets with the stretchy palazzo type pants and the sparkly sequined top that women wear to their 50 yr HS reunions. And I think it's a size 14. I'm an 8 or 10 in pants. But she always does shit like that. Every. Damn. Year.

I had said I needed some new ideas to use for dinner. So DH got me 4 large cookbooks that are the french/gourmet style. I mean i like cooking but if something needs 5-6 hours to cook then I need to only work PT not FT.

This year was pretty good too. The only thing that was ok was MIL got me winter gloves. I use the same ones every year, but they are warm and bulky. These ones are thinner so I'll give her that.

My very sweet childless sister made me and C matching infinity scarves. She doesn't realise the choking hazard of putting a scarf on a baby.

My SIL bought me a knockoff purse which is hideous and obviously quite fake. It sounds bitchy but if you aren't going to buy the real designer just buy a nice purse from a regular store.
