Hi moms,
Hoping to get some advice. An ENT has recommended a sleep study for our 2-year old as part of the process of deciding if we should remove her enlarged adenoids and tonsils. Has anyone had a sleep study done on their child this young? I'm nervous about putting her through something like this and don't understand how she will actually sleep and not completely flip out. We are getting pressure from our families not to put her through the study, especially if the end result may be the same. For what its worth, I've never heard her have any apnea spells ever, but I understand the monitors can pick up way more than I can.
Would love to hear any experiences! Thanks!
