Vaca spots?

I need ideas for a Spring vaca spot with a LO! Somewhere warm and with a beach :)  We usually go to Mexico, but I'm not quite comfortable taking LO there this year.  We're going to San Diego next October, so we're thinking maybe Florida?

    I love Florida as well but I usually veer away from Destin. I'd rather be out of the touristy, high traffic area. We go every year to Mexico City beach or Port St. Joe. We rent a house and cook most of our meals. It's very relaxing and quiet.

    Turks and Caicos is amazing!!!  The food is pretty expensive there, since everything in imported, but everything I ate was delicious, and like @violet1183 said, Grace Bay is the most beautiful beach.  

    If you're looking for something in Florida, I also like Fort Lauderdale.  We stayed at the Hilton Beach Resort.  It is very family friendly.  We went to brunch at the Pelican Grand, and it was really nice there too.
