P90X anyone?

With the new year right around the corner and losing weight/toning up being on the top of our lists for resolutions....would anyone be interested in starting a P90X group? We could hold each other accountable and give much needed encouragement!

  • I'm down. I need a break from Jillian Michaels anyway. I did P90X 6 months before my BFP and my body was amazing. I'm sooooo down.

  • Fun fact. My turbo and Pi Yo instructor, Julie, is in p90x2 and the upcoming p90x3.

    Not that it really motivates me to actually do it! ;)

  • I just started south beach again. I did it before my bfp with our 3 year old and lost 50 lbs. I love it. Hopefully I can lose the extra 30 or so lbs I have hanging around this time.

"X me, X me, come on X me!" {{in my best Tony voice}}. @CaliforniaDream87 glad to hear you are down @crazed178 if you made it far enough into the program to know who Pam ba-blam is last time, we can take you farther this time! I am going to start on Monday the 5th and will do the classic version. Who else is in?
  • If someone could send me the DVDs I'd be in. Otherwise...imma hit up the gym here soon. Think they have childcare starting at 6 months, so I'll hafta wait till then.

    Hysteroscopy 3/2011 2 Polyps removed 4/2011
    DH on Clomid / Arimidex to address hormonal issues - Sperm found July 2011!
    IVF #1 September 2011 - ER 9/8/2011- 8R, 5M - icsi - 1 made it to transfer - BFFN :-(
    IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
    1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!

    2 babies born on 3/27/12 and lost. Last baby born on 3/29/12 and lost at 20 weeks.

  • I really have no time to work out since my day begins at 4:30am but I think I am going to have my DH give LO his last bottle of the night and rock him to sleep so I can get my workout and shower in before I go to bed. Will see how it works!
  • I may be in, although I'll be doing P90 instead of P90X. It's a little less intense & a great lead up to P90x.

    I am worried about my supply with working out. I'll have to take it day by day...hopefully I'm just paranoid.

    For those of you not BFing I have the 7day metabolism booster meal plan if you're interested. It's high protein, basically no carbs & low calories. I would NOT recommend it while BFing.
  • @LokiLahve I am worried about my milk too but I'm not going to follow the recommended meal plans. I'm just going to stick to the workouts and make smarter food choices. Will prob do myfitnesspal to monitor my calories. If my milk supply tanks I will maybe cut down to three workouts a week or something. There are lots of modifications we can make. I just need to get started on something and quit making excuses! This body needs some TLC!
  • Yes! I can kill two birds with one stone. Start working out again and get more active on this board. :) I think this week I will play around with getting a work out in and see how it goes with LO. Even if I can't do the full hour something is better than nothing, right?

  • I'm starting a biggest loser contest at work next week, so I'm definitely on the get fit train, I'm just not sure I'll be doing a particular program. A few of us ladies have been "checking in" on Wednesday for weight.. I know we called it weight watchers, but I think we're all kinda doing our own thing. Anyhow, if anyone wants to join that too, or consolidate, feel free!

    @zarkoe honestly, I don't have time but I make it. I feel so much better when I get my workouts in. A lot of time I'll have LO in his jumper while I workout. I don't have to leave him and he likes to watch me sweat lol.

  • I'm going to start eating healthy first. See if putting better food in this body can help with my low energy levels. Pumping 3 times a day at work uses up any gym time I could possibly have. Hopefully soon I can reduce to 2 times a day and hit the gym during lunch like I used to. I've got to get this flubber off.

    I could never finish it pre pregnancy! I am a cardio machine, but those videos kicked my booty!

    @christy32685 honestly, I feel that it got easier. In the beginning I was dying basically the way I will be once I start again lol. The more I did it (even if I didn't finish) the easier the workouts got.

  • @CaliforniaDream87 That was my problem, I gave up after a week. Let me get going on my elliptical (to where I could do it as long as I could before), then I might join you for P90x.... I have the videos so I would be able to jump right in.
